About the Event

Embark on an exhilarating Easter Holiday adventure with Croatia 7-Days Sailing, as you navigate the enchanting waters of the Adriatic Sea on your very own sailboat. You will immerse yourself in the stunning scenery, exploring a new island every day while anchoring in serene coves for a truly authentic experience. From the comfort of your vessel, you will encounter the charm of Croatia's picturesque islands, from the tranquil haven of Vis to the bustling energy of Hvar, as you discover the region's rich culture and history.

Croatian Bays in which everyone should anchor at least once:

Vela Rina bay is probably the most exotic bay you will find in Croatia, and the locals like to say it represents a touch of the Caribbean in the Mediterranean. It is also called "the pools" with white sand, natural shades, calm water, and a perfect place to rest your soul.

When on your way to the island of Hvar, one of the bays you will reach is Prisnjak. Small and quiet, easily reachable by yacht, Prisnjak bay makes a great starting point for exploration of the island of Hvar. This crystal clear, azure bay is up to 8m deep while located less than 25m away from the coast. Anchoring there will make you feel like you parked your sailing yacht right on the beach.

On the island of Šolta, close to the village Grohote, is where the bay Gluha vala is hidden. This Croatian bay is unique because it is composed of seven smaller bays, and it got its name in ancient times due to its’ acoustical properties. Gluha vala may be translated into English as Deaf bay. It is not difficult to imagine how calm and blissful this bay is, isn’t it?

Gluha vala is a bay with a rich historical background. According to the archeologists, one of those seven smaller bays used to be a private fishpond of the emperor Diocletian, and there are still some building leftovers to prove it.

Positioned on the south side of Vis Island, Pritišćina is hardly reachable by land and that makes it a perfect choice for every sailor on the lookout for a piece of privacy. Isn’t that what we all want sometimes?

Since most tourists visit Croatia during the summer months, the crowds tend to thin out in April, May, September and October. Take advantage of it! Restaurants are open and your chances of getting the best table increase. You can be more spontaneous during your sailing vacation in Croatia, as you don't have to reserve a table in advance. It is also easier to get a seat in the marinas so you can be at sea sailing all day, without having to rush to the nicer anchorages to secure a seat. This allows you to be more flexible and even choose between secluded bays, marinas and restaurants. Very luxurious!

Flight booking prices are lower during April, May September and October. So our little tip for you, take the opportunity to sail in Croatia during the "golden hour" at the beginning or end of the season. These months we have the best wind conditions, no stress with crowds, and the lowest prices.

Rest assured that we always strive to provide the best possible experience for our guests, and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility. Our crew is dedicated to making your trip unforgettable, and we're always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Let's work together to make this an amazing journey!

What currency should I bring?

The currency is Euro since January 2023.

What is the food and drink situation?

At Sailing Munich, we want you to enjoy every aspect of your Sailing Trip, including your meals! To give you the flexibility to choose the food and drink that you prefer, we don't include these items in our packages. However, our yacht is equipped with a kitchenette that includes a gas stove, fridge, oven, and kettle, so you can prepare your own meals while on board. We recommend that you bring your own food and drink before boarding, which you can easily purchase from the supermarket in Marina Dalmacija or in any of the islands we visit. This way, you can pick out exactly what you'll need for your perfect lunch at sea. In the evenings, you'll have a wide variety of restaurant options to choose from. Croatia is known for its delicious, locally-grown food, and our skipper will be happy to recommend the perfect restaurant for you. So come prepared to savor the flavors of the Adriatic and enjoy our Croatia 7-Days Sail Trip!

Are bed linen and towels included?

Yes they are, however the towels are for indoor/shower use only – you’ll need to bring your own beach towel for outdoors.

When does the trip start and finish?

We can't wait to welcome you aboard our Croatia 7-Days Sail Trip! Check-in begins at 4pm on Saturday at Marina Dalmacija, and we kindly ask that all our passengers disembark by 9am on the following Saturday so that we have time to clean and prepare the yacht for the next group. We'll send you detailed directions to the marina when you book your tour, so you'll have no trouble finding us. If you're unable to make it to check-in on time, don't worry – you can easily catch up with your yacht at your first destination. Our team is always here to help and answer any questions you may have, so let's get ready for an unforgettable journey!

Are there any local payments that I need to be aware of?

We want to make sure that our guests have a stress-free and enjoyable experience onboard our sailing trip, and that includes managing expenses. To help facilitate the extra costs associated with port fees, fuel, and tourist taxes, we recommend using the Splitwise app (available for Android and iOS). With Splitwise, you can easily split expenses with your fellow travelers and avoid the hassle of figuring out who owes what. It's the perfect tool for sharing costs and keeping track of expenses while on the go. So, let's focus on having fun and making memories, and let Splitwise take care of the rest!
