About the Event

We are excited to announce the launch of our Sailing Lessons program, which will take place every weekend in June and July, beginning on June 11th. Our program is designed to be inclusive and cater to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced sailors.

Each session of the program is thoughtfully structured to span three hours, providing ample time to learn, practice, and refine your sailing skills. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process, offering personalized attention and support to help you achieve your goals.

Our curriculum is tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of our students. Whether you want to learn the basics of sailing, improve your technique, or acquire new skills, our program offers a comprehensive approach that is adaptable to your needs.

At Ammersee, we believe that safety is paramount when it comes to sailing. That is why our program emphasizes safety protocols, including the proper use of safety equipment, handling emergencies, and navigation.

There is a clear distinction between having theoretical knowledge about boating and actually knowing how to operate a boat. While theory can complement practice, true knowledge is only proven through execution and validation. Different students have different objectives and needs. Some students may only want to experience piloting a boat without any intention of owning or maintaining one, participating in championships, or undertaking complex tasks like assembling or disassembling a boat. In such cases, it doesn't make sense to waste time memorizing unnecessary details or teaching complex tasks like set up and regulate the Spinnaker or how to use a sextant. Instead, students only need to know the basics - where they want to go, how to point the bow of the boat in the desired direction, and how to set the sail according to the wind to get the boat moving.

Our Sailing courses focus on on teaching students how to sail in a safe and efficient manner, getting them from point A to B and back again. We cover the basic skills required to identify the wind, set the sail, and get the boat moving. Our aim is to ensure that the student has fun while learning, without worrying about achieving perfect maneuvers or positioning on the boat.

If the student wants to pursue sailing further and gain more advanced knowledge, we offer intermediate and advanced courses that cater to their specific needs. We believe that learning by doing is the best way to learn, which is why I always accompany my students in the cockpit during sailing classes. This not only passes on confidence and care to the student but also helps them become the protagonist of their learning journey.

Whether you are a novice or an experienced sailor, our Sailing Lessons program offers a unique opportunity to learn and hone your skills.

Join us for an unforgettable experience and take the first step towards mastering the art of sailing.
