About the Event
7-Days Sailing Course begin and end on the Dalmatian coast, most often in the town of Split. Whether you have never sailed before or are a salty old racer keen to pick up cruising skills, we will be able to look after you.
This Sailing Course will take you around some of the main islands of the Dalmatian coast, including Hvar, Brac, Vis, and Korcula. These are islands where little has changed since the Austro-Hungarian empire built villages hundreds of years ago. It is wonderful to tie the boat to a town dock, then walk across to a cafe for drinks at the end of a day of sailing. Regardless of level, sailing in Croatia is fun, challenging, and has an apres-sail scene that is legendary (if you haven’t heard of Hvar yet, you are in for a treat).
Rather than have a set of strangers from different generations and a salty, cranky instructor yelling at you, our whole ethos is to create one of the best weeks of our students’ lives.
Our sailing classes happen on live-aboard sailing yachts in places that we regard as the best sailing destinations in the Europe. If you are going to level up your sailing game, you may as well do it in a place that has perfect weather, warm water and with great people.
If you are new to the sport a beginner sailing course will introduce you to the fundamentals of sailing. If you have some experience but need to improve your skills and gain a qualification to sail your own boat or charter a sailboat in the future, you will have a course designed for you. Our 7-day Sailing Course provides significantly more time and support for a greater understanding of the theory and practical application of it, as a part of the practical training. Having more time, allows for a more relaxing and enjoyable week on board – making your experience more of a holiday as well as building confidence and experience.
