I’m Leo Cunha, Yacht Captain and Chief Instructor of Sailing Munich. My experience comes from sailing the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and the waters of South America, crossing the Atlantic multiple times, and competing in numerous regattas.
Ocean crossings teach patience, preparation and sound judgement. Racing sharpens your awareness of the wind, sail trim and teamwork. I bring those lessons on board with you, turning experience into practical skills you can understand and use.
You take the helm, handle the sails and practise manoeuvres while I explain what to do and why it works. My approach is calm, clear and hands-on, with time to ask questions and learn at your own pace.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced sailor, my goal is to help you handle the boat with greater skill, make sound decisions and enjoy sailing with confidence.
