DAY 1 - 2

The Fjord of Sivota

We embark on Saturday evening at Lefkas Marina. On Sunday morning, we sail south along the coast, stopping for a swim at the pine-covered Fraxia Beach. We end the day in Sivota Bay (Lefkada), a natural fjord beloved by sailors, lined with excellent seafood tavernas right on the water’s edge. Highlight: Dinner at a seaside tavern in Sivota, watching the yachts dock in the protected bay.

DAY 3 - 4

Kefalonia & The Mythical Ithaca

We cross the channel to the majestic island of Kefalonia, stopping for lunch in the charming port of Agia Effimia. The next day, we sail to Ithaca, the home of Odysseus. We swim at the crystal-clear Paliouras Beach before docking in Kioni, widely considered the most elegant and picturesque village in the Ionian. Highlight: Exploring the boutique jewelry shops and having a romantic dinner in Kioni.

DAY 5 - 6

The VIP Fiscardo & Atokos

A short sail takes us to the uninhabited island of Atokos to swim in the electric blue waters of One House Bay. In the afternoon, we head back to northern Kefalonia to dock in Fiscardo. This is the 'St. Tropez' of the Ionian—a cosmopolitan harbor full of superyachts, Venetian architecture, and high-end dining. Highlight: Cocktails and people-watching in the vibrant harbor of Fiscardo.

DAY 7 - 8

Meganisi Caves & Return

Leaving Kefalonia, we enter the calm waters of Meganisi. We stop to explore the famous Papanikolis Sea Cave (where submarines hid during WWII) and enjoy a final lunch at a beach tavern in Spartochori. We then enjoy a relaxed sail back to Lefkas Marina for our final evening. Farewell: Disembarkation on Saturday morning at 09:00 am.

Please Note: This itinerary serves as a guide. The route may be adjusted by the captain based on weather conditions to ensure your safety and comfort. We also believe in a flexible experience: whether you prefer extended swim stops in turquoise bays or more time exploring historic villages, the captain will be happy to adapt the daily pace to your group's preferences.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT MAKES THE IONIAN SOUTH ROUTE DIFFERENT FROM THE REST OF GREECE?

The Ionian is the "Caribbean of Greece." Unlike the Aegean Sea, the Ionian South offers exceptionally calm waters and reliable, gentle breezes. It is the best region for those who prioritize comfortable sailing, lush green landscapes, and crystal-clear turquoise bays. Here, the pine trees often touch the water’s edge, creating a scenery that is vastly different from the dry, rocky landscapes found in other parts of the country.

IS THIS ROUTE SUITABLE FOR FAMILIES AND BEGINNERS?

Absolutely. Because the Ionian South is naturally protected by the surrounding islands and the mainland, the sea is very flat. This makes it the premier choice for families with children or guests who are concerned about seasickness. You get the full experience of offshore sailing with a level of comfort that is hard to find anywhere else in the Mediterranean.

WILL WE VISIT THE FAMOUS ODYSSEUS ISLAND?

Yes, we sail to Ithaca, the legendary home of Odysseus. Beyond its mythological importance, Ithaca offers some of the most charming and authentic harbors in Greece, like Vathi and Kioni. Exploring these ports by yacht allows you to feel the timeless atmosphere of the island without the rush of mainland tourism.

WHAT ARE THE HIGHLIGHTS OF NAVIGATING THE SOUTHERN IONIAN?

Our route typically includes the "Inner Sea," exploring gems like Meganisi, Kalamos, and Kastos. These islands are less developed and offer incredible opportunities for "wild" anchoring in bays with water so clear the boat appears to be floating in air. We also visit the famous Fiskardo in Cephalonia, known for its colorful Venetian architecture and upscale waterfront dining.

HOW DO WE REACH THE STARTING POINT?

Most of our Ionian South expeditions depart from Lefkas or Preveza (PVK Airport). Preveza is well-connected with direct flights from Munich and other major European hubs. From the airport, it is a short 25-minute drive to the marina. We coordinate your arrival to ensure you transition from your flight to the yacht’s deck with zero friction.

CAN WE COMBINE SAILING WITH OTHER WATER ACTIVITIES?

Definitely. The calm conditions of the Ionian South are perfect for using our Stand-Up Paddleboards (SUPs) and snorkeling gear. The bays we choose are like natural swimming pools. If you are interested in improving your sailing skills, the consistent afternoon breeze provides the perfect "classroom" for stress-free sail trimming and maneuvering practice.
