I grew up in Rio de Janeiro, where the ocean was always calling. Before founding Sailing Munich, my life followed a dual path: on the water, I dedicated myself to high-performance competitive sailing in Olympic classes; on land, I built a 20-year career as an architect, working across both Brazil and Germany.

This background defines my approach today. Based in Germany for over 15 years, I combine the natural instinct of a lifelong sailor with the rigorous technical standards of German seamanship. My expertise extends far beyond local waters—from Atlantic crossings and Caribbean expeditions to delivering yachts through challenging Mediterranean winter storms.

I have learned that the sea rewards preparation and punishes complacency. It doesn’t care about your certificate; it cares about your competence.

I founded Sailing Munich because I believe training should reflect reality. No shortcuts. No false confidence. Just solid skills, professional standards, and the kind of knowledge that keeps you safe when conditions change. My goal is to provide a higher standard of training—one that builds real offshore confidence and inspires a genuine passion for the ocean.
